Who am i?

Hello, my name is Felicity and I am a qualified translator and proofreader. I have a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University (UK) and an MA in Translation from Leipzig University (Germany). I am a native English speaker but lived and worked in Germany for five years. I am an experienced translator specialising in German-English translation but I also take on French-English texts. I also proofread English texts; I tend to concentrate on academic texts such as dissertations and academic articles, but have proofread lots of other texts in the past as well.

I also teach German and English as a second language and can claim extensive experience, having worked as a language teacher for 11 years now. I am particularly interested in teaching languages through the medium of translation, but can tailor lessons to individual learners and groups.
